Four days from Cape Town to Gqeberha: Cape Agulhas, the Tradouw Pass, two nights in Oudtshoorn with the Cango Caves and an ostrich farm, and a night in Knysna. Maximum ten guests.
The journey
A compact version of the Garden Route for travellers with less time: the southern tip of Africa on the first day, two nights in Oudtshoorn for the Cango Caves, an ostrich farm and Klein Karoo wines, and Knysna on the third. On the last morning a driver takes you east through the Tsitsikamma forest to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), with an airport drop-off on request.
The itinerary is the first four days of the six-day Garden Route Splendour tour.
Scheduled small-group departure (minimum 2, maximum 10 guests). Accommodation is as named or a similar standard; the exact hotel is confirmed at booking. Two guests travel in a sedan; three to ten guests travel in a 13-seater vehicle.

An early start over Sir Lowry's Pass to Grabouw and Elgin, with a stop at a farm stall of Overberg produce. On to Cape Agulhas, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, and its historic lighthouse. Over the Outeniqua Pass to George and the Outeniqua Transport Museum, then via Wilderness to Knysna. Lunch of local dishes en route, and the Eastern Head for the view over the Knysna Heads (weather permitting). — Meals: breakfast, lunch · Accommodation: Rex Hotel (4-star) or similar · About 170 km
