A shared itinerary moves at someone else’s pace. A private day moves at yours — more time where something is genuinely interesting, and less time waiting on a group schedule that has nothing to do with you.
The guide is talking to you specifically — answering what you actually asked, not delivering a fixed script. Where it’s practical, the day itself adapts: an earlier start to beat the heat, longer at one stop and none at another, or a stop that matters to you but wasn’t on the original plan.
