The collection
Airport collection planned around your arrival
We coordinate the transfer using your flight details, passenger numbers, luggage requirements and Sandton destination. This is particularly useful after a long international journey, when having the ground movement arranged in advance removes an unnecessary decision on arrival.
The vehicle
Vehicle planning matters
The appropriate vehicle depends on more than passenger count. Larger suitcases, golf bags, specialist equipment and group luggage can materially change the vehicle requirement, so these details should be provided when booking.
Where you stay
Sandton as your Johannesburg base
Sandton is a common base for international leisure and business travellers. If you are staying for more than an overnight connection, your airport movement can be coordinated with private Johannesburg or Soweto touring rather than treated as an isolated transfer.
Two Sandton hotels we can include: Southern Sun Sandton, a 301-room full-service hotel named in our South Africa Explorer small-group itinerary, and The Maslow Sandton, near Sandton Gautrain Station and Sandton City, with its own gardens, pool and spa.
Onward connections
Part of a wider itinerary
The transfer can stand alone or connect with group transport and onward safari arrangements. We plan around the actual arrival rather than assuming every airport collection works the same way.
South Africa, personally handled.
