Kapama Karula

Karula sits along the perennial Klaserie River, which is what separates it from the rest of the reserve's lodges: every villa faces the water and has its own solar-heated pool. Superior Villas are built for couples; Superior Family Villas add bedrooms and an open-plan living room and are sold with a private safari vehicle and guide for the whole stay, priced per villa. The Kapama wellness centre, with hydrotherapy bath, steam room and gym, is on site rather than a shuttle ride away. Dining is flexible and can be taken privately, and the villas have complimentary Wi-Fi, individually controlled air conditioning and minibars. The standard Kapama inclusions apply: three meals, two drives, a bush walk, selected drinks and the Eastgate Airport transfer.

Why Karula

Karula is the answer when the priority is privacy and pools rather than a lodge full of facilities: a river-front villa, a heated pool nobody else uses, and, for families, a vehicle nobody else shares. It also carries the spa, so guests who want treatments daily are better placed here than at Buffalo Camp or Southern Camp.
