The camp is designed to blend into the wilderness , featuring safari tents set on wooden decks under thatched roofs , each equipped with en-suite showers, toilets, and hand basins . This eco-friendly camp uses solar power and gas geysers , ensuring a low-impact safari experience while maintaining comfort. The swimming pool overlooks a watering hole , offering a perfect spot for relaxation. At Shindzela , you can experience twice-daily game drives or walking safaris , guided by professional rangers who bring the African bush to life.

📅 Day 1: Arrival & First Game Drive 🕘 08:00 – Departure from Johannesburg/Pretoria Scenic transfer in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle to Timbavati Private Game Reserve . 🕛 12:30 – Arrival & Check-in at Shindzela Tented Camp Welcome drinks & camp orientation. Settle into your comfortable safari tent overlooking the bushveld. 🕒 15:30 – Afternoon Game Drive Depart on a 3-hour open 4X4 safari with expert guides. Spot Big Five wildlife and other African animals. Sundowners at a scenic viewpoint. 🕖 19:00 – Dinner Under the Stars Enjoy a traditional bush dinner at the boma around a campfire. 🕘 21:00 – Overnight Stay in Safari Tent Relax and listen to the sounds of the African night .
