Half-Day Cape Town City & Table Mountain Tour

1 Day

This half-day tour offers a fascinating journey through Cape Town’s rich history and stunning landscapes.

“Explore the heart of Cape Town and rise above it all on Table Mountain!”

Overview

We start by driving past iconic landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope, built in 1666 by the Dutch East India Company, and the elegant City Hall, where Nelson Mandela made his first speech as a free man. As we continue along Adderley Street, we’ll see St. George’s Cathedral, home of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and pass through the Company Gardens, a lush retreat in the heart of the city.

We then explore the Bo-Kaap, also known as the Malay Quarter, famous for its colorful houses, cobbled streets, and deep cultural heritage. This neighborhood tells the story of the Cape Malay people, whose ancestors were brought to Cape Town as slaves in the 18th century.

Next, we take a sparkling detour into South Africa’s diamond and gold trade, where you’ll witness expert craftsmanship and the art of diamond cutting.

Finally, we offer the option to ascend Table Mountain via the revolving cable car (weather permitting). From the top, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city, its golden beaches, and even Robben Island in the distance. Along the way, spot the famous silver tree and a variety of unique wildflowers that thrive on the mountain.
