Half-Day Cape Point Tour

5 Hours

This half-day adventure takes you along one of the world’s most scenic coastal routes, passing through the cosmopolitan suburbs of Sea Point and Camps Bay, with stunning views of the Twelve Apostles—a dramatic extension of the Table Mountain range.

“A breathtaking journey to the tip of Africa’s wild and rugged coastline!”

Overview

We then enter the Cape Point Nature Reserve, a 17,300-acre wilderness teeming with diverse wildlife. Keep an eye out for baboons, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok, eland, and an incredible variety of bird species. The reserve is also one of the world’s largest breeding grounds for tortoises.

As we reach Cape Point, you’ll witness “Nature’s Greatest Show”, where the legendary meeting of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans takes place. You may even feel the famous “Cape Doctor” winds, believed to have healing properties.

Our return journey follows the False Bay coastline, passing through Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, and Muizenberg. Time permitting (optional, for own account), we may stop to visit the charming Boulders Beach Penguin Colony before heading back to Cape Town, passing landmarks like the University of Cape Town, Rhodes Memorial, and Groote Schuur Hospital.
