Day 1, 2 & 3: Garden Route Safari – Amakhala Game Reserve (3 nights)

Your journey kicks off with a short drive to the Amakhala Game Reserve, located in the Greater Addo area. Here, you’ll spend three nights in the heart of the Eastern Cape bushveld, surrounded by iconic African wildlife. From lions and elephants to cheetahs and giraffes, the reserve offers a rich safari experience. Woodbury Lodge, nestled against a cliff above the Bushman’s River Valley, will be your home during this leg of the journey.

Leaving the safari behind, you’ll head to the coastal paradise of Plettenberg Bay. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Tsitsikamma National Park and its captivating landscapes. Lily Pond Country Lodge in Nature’s Valley will be your oasis for two nights, providing easy access to the region’s attractions, including Elephant Sanctuary, Monkeyland, and the pristine Plett beaches. If you’re lucky and visit at the right time, you might witness the majestic Southern Right Whales in the bay.
