An incredible 5-day safari package showcasing the Kruger national park. On this package, you will experience the public side of the park as well as the exclusive Great Kruger National Park.

Day 1

Our professional Driver/Guide will pick you up in Johannesburg in an air-conditioned vehicle and transfer you via the scenic Panorama Route to Kruger Park. En-route we will visit Pilgrim’s Rest, God’s Window and the Graskop Falls.

We will arrive at Perrys Bridge Hollow (or similar) in the afternoon where you will have time to check-in and freshen up before we depart on a game drive in the Kruger National Park.

You will depart on either an afternoon game drive or a sunset game drive (where you will get your first experience on an open 4X4 Safari vehicle.) The late afternoon offers the lower light game viewing with most animals heading down to the watering holes and offers excellent game viewing opportunities. (Please note the sunset drive is subject to availability)

Accommodation: Perrys Bridge Hollow or Similar (Dinner Bed and Breakfast)

Day 2

Your Professional Field guide will advise you off your pick-up time for this morning.  You will be picked up from your lodge early in the morning on your full day game drive in an Open 4X4 Safari Vehicle.

We will enter Kruger National Park and enjoy a full day game drive on this day. We will stop several times during the day for you to freshen up and to stretch your legs.  Your Professional Field Guide will ensure that you see the wildlife Kruger Park is renowned for and give you interesting facts and information on all aspects of the African Bush and Wildlife.  (With a bit of luck, you will be able to add the Big Five to your “spotting-list”) We will enjoy breakfast at one of the Kruger Park Camps (packed by the lodge).

We will also visit the Skukuza Main Camp of the Kruger Park.

We will return in the afternoon to your Lodge where the rest of the evening will be at leisure. Dinner can be enjoyed at the Lodge.

We will return in the afternoon to your Lodge where the rest of the evening will be at leisure. Dinner can be enjoyed at the Lodge. (Depending on your dates of travel – dinner could be accompanied with traditional dancing)

Accommodation: Perrys Bridge Hollow or Similar (Dinner Bed and Breakfast)

Day 3:

We will once again collect you for an early morning game drive to try and find the illusive animals that you might have missed on your previous drives.

After your Early Morning Game Drive, we will return to the lodge.  Once you have checked out your professional Driver/Guide will be waiting to transfer you to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve.

Sabi Sands has a high concentration of wildlife and is known for the predators, especially the cats. Although the Sabi Sands is a private reserve and is a more exclusive safari experience, it forms part of the Greater Kruger Park with its borders being mainly unfenced with the national park.

Late afternoon and into the evenings are a great time to spot wildlife, after which you will make your way to the lodge for dinner and an opportunity to have a relaxed evening.

Refresh from your short inter-lodge transfer and enjoy some High tea and sometime relaxing by the pool before heading out on your sunset drive. Sundowners will be served as you watch a spectacular sunset over the African Bush. Once the sun has set, the spot lights come out and it’s in search of your predators.

Dinner is served at the lodge.

Day 4: Another early morning call and sunrises await. Today you will head out on two game drives. One morning and one sunset game drive. You will return during the day to enjoy breakfast and lunch. Why not spend some time by the pool? Don’t want to sit in a vehicle twice today? No problem speak to your profession game ranger about doing a short bush walk. Dinner served at the lodge.

Day 5: Waking up early, enjoy a cup of coffee and soak up the lodges atmosphere before embarking on your final game drive of your safari package. Return to the lodge, freshening up and enjoying a good breakfast before your professional driver picks you up and takes you back to Johannesburg.
